Most toys come and go, a rocking horse will last innumerable generations, giving pleasure to young and old alike. Your children and grandchildren will enjoy playing on it, and in turn their children. A rocking horse will pass from generation to generation as a family heirloom should.

Some of the horses I repaired and renovated in England were close to 180 years old. Working on them gave me the opportunity to study  traditional construction methods which have stood the test of time extremely well. These are the same construction methods I use in all my horses. The horse design is based on that of a Mid 19th century horse which was delivered to me in pieces for repair. This enabled me to make patterns and templates from an original. I have used these patterns ever since.
